Section 2: Citation Information and Document Upload

1. Unless you have lived in the State less than 30 days it must say “Mississippi” at the top. Every State has different requirements.
2. It must be a liability policy. A Driver’s Policy is not vehicle-specific insurance.
3. Some unlicensed insurers sell policies in the State illegally. We must know that it is a licensed company.
4. The policy must have been active at the time when the vehicle was identified.
5. The policy must be specific to that vehicle and also to that owner.
6. For this to have been identified as a lapsed policy, the vehicle was insured as private, not commercial and then, there was no coverage. The insured must match government records.
